The 40% Club, The Canary Wharf, Vertus Edition!

The UK's first open mic pitch night, a unique event dedicated to celebrating talent and supporting early-stage founders with groundbreaking and innovative ideas that can change the world. This special event is exclusively for Vertus members residing in Canary Wharf.

Experience an evening where Dragons' Den is reimagined, exclusively for Vertus members. You'll witness a phenomenal performance from a talented artist. Through ticket sales and donations, six visionary early-stage founders will have the chance to pitch their revolutionary ideas in front of the same supportive audience, the goal is to raise funds directed towards the winning pitch of the night. Only one founder will walk away with funding and great prizes. It's a collective effort to empower and uplift the next wave of changemakers.

This event isn't just a name; it's a reflection of the reality that only 40% of people persevere to achieve their goals and dreams. Recognising that 60% give up at the first obstacle, we've created this platform to be a beacon of inspiration. Our mission is to provide everyone with the opportunity to face their fears, build their dreams, and Just Do It Anyway. By coming together as a community, we aim to redefine the statistics and support those who are determined to make a positive impact on the world. Don't forget to invite your fellow residents to come and watch you pitch, it's going to be a wonderful night filled with creativity and brilliance.
