What Is The 40% Club
The 40% Club is the UK's pioneering open mic pitch night, a unique event dedicated to supporting early-stage founders with groundbreaking and innovative ideas that can change the world.
Experience an evening filled with the magic of music, poetry, and creative performances, all provided by passionate artists who perform for free. The goal is to raise funds that will be directed towards emerging entrepreneurs. Three visionary early-stage founders will have the chance to pitch their revolutionary ideas in front of the same supportive audience. The funds raised by the performers and ticket sales will then be distributed among these entrepreneurs based on the audience's choice; only one founder will walk away with funding and great prizes. It's a collective effort to empower and uplift the next wave of changemakers.
The 40% Club isn't just a name; it's a reflection of the reality that only 40% of people persevere to achieve their goals and dreams. Recognising that 60% give up at the first obstacle, we've created the 40% Club to be a beacon of inspiration. Our mission is to provide everyone with the opportunity to face their fears, build their dreams, and Just Do It Anyway. By coming together as a community, we aim to redefine the statistics and support those who are determined to make a positive impact on the world. Join us in building dreams, overcoming obstacles, and celebrating the spirit of the 40% who choose to forge ahead and make a difference.
The performers:
The performers will be given a recording of their performance to use to support their talent development.
The performer will be given the opportunity to perform at other shows with potential payment included.
The performers will be added to a directory of performers to gain more visibility.
The performers will be introduced to managers from independent and major labels.

Winning Pitch:
The winning founder will receive a funding incentive to advance their business to the next stage. Please note that this amount will vary each month as it's linked to ticket sales, private donations and sponsorship.
The winning founder will be entitled to four business coaching sessions with an award-winning business leader.
The winning founder will have the opportunity to pitch in front of other investors.
An 80% discount on business mentoring will be granted to the winning founder.
* All founders who pitch will get a recording of their pitch to use to support their business growth.
